- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 4 cups seafood or vegetable broth
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined, chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 pound lump crabmeat, picked over for shells
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley or green onions for garnish
